Azure C. on the ABC Television Network's "The City"
Carlotta Chang joined the cast of the newest ABC Daytime drama "The City" in November 1995 as Azure C. Mysterious as the orient, Azure is an exquisitely beautiful woman and signs on as one of the new models at The Wilder Agency. Although shy and unassuming, Azure quickly becomes one of the agency's top models.
Born in Syracuse, New York and raised in Manhattan, Chang was born into an artistic family. Her mother is a professional dancer and her brother shares her career choice as an actor.
Chang made her professional debut in the Albany Repertory cast of "The Phantom of the Opera." Other stage credits include lead roles in "Splendor in the Grass" and "The Glass Menagerie." Chang has also appeared in a guest starring role on "New York Undercover."
A sports enthusiast, Chang is working on acquiring her SCUBA certification and her motorcycle license. She also is an active particpant in tennis, running and skiing. Additionally, she is classically trained in voice, dance, and piano.
